Reservations
Q. What is the maximum occupancy?
saMa-saMa Stay accommodates up to 8 adults. For groups of up to 5, one bedroom is provided. For groups of 6 to 8, two bedrooms are provided. saMa-saMa Dua and saMa-saMa Aisle each accommodate up to 5 adults.
Q. Can children stay?
Children (ages 2–12) count as adults for occupancy purposes. Infants (under 2) may share a bed with an adult at no extra charge. One infant per adult is allowed for co-sleeping.
Q. Can I pay in cash at check-in?
For reservations made through our official website or third-party booking sites, only advance credit card payment is accepted. Payment on-site is not available.
Cancellation
Q. Can I cancel after confirming my reservation?
Cancellations are possible; however, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the timing. Cancellation policies differ between reservations made through our official website and those made through third-party booking sites. Please review the details at the time of booking.
Check-in & Check-out
Q. What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 21:00, and check-out is at 10:00.
We use a contactless self-check-in system with no on-site staff. You will unlock the front door using a touchscreen lock or key box with a PIN code.
Detailed entry instructions will be sent to you by email before your check-in date.
Q. Are early check-in and late check-out available?
If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance. An additional fee will apply. Please note that early check-in or late check-out may not be available depending on the reservation schedule, so we recommend contacting us as early as possible.
Luggage
Q. Can I store luggage before check-in or after check-out?
As there is no staff on the property, we are unable to store luggage before check-in or after check-out. Please use coin lockers at Odawara Station or nearby facilities.
Q. Can I send luggage in advance?
We are unable to receive parcels or luggage on your behalf before check-in. If you wish to send luggage ahead, please contact us in advance and we will provide the shipping address and recipient name. Please arrange the delivery with a specified date and time so that you can receive it after check-in.
Services
Q. Is WiFi available?
Free WiFi is available on the property. The password can be found inside the property after check-in.
Q. Can I smoke inside?
The property is completely non-smoking indoors, including heat-not-burn tobacco products (e.g. IQOS). Smoking is permitted only in the designated area with an ashtray outside the front entrance. Please refrain from littering cigarette butts or smoking loudly at night, as this may disturb the neighbors.
Q. Can I cook in the kitchen?
Cooking is allowed only using the cookware and appliances provided in the kitchen. For hygiene reasons, only cooking oil and salt & pepper are provided as seasonings. Available equipment includes: refrigerator, microwave, toaster, IH stove, pots, frying pan, kitchen knife, cutting board, bowls, colander, ladle, spatula, peeler, cooking chopsticks, kitchen scissors, dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery, and an electric kettle.
Bringing portable gas stoves, electric griddles, or similar appliances for hot pot, barbecue, or other cooking on the property is prohibited. Please also refrain from preparing raw fish or deep-frying. An additional cleaning fee will be charged if fish scales, oil splatter, or strong odors remain.
Q. Are meals provided?
Our accommodation plans are room-only (no meals included). We do not offer meal services. We are happy to recommend nearby restaurants.
Q. What amenities are provided?
The following amenities are provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, bath towels, face towels, hair dryer, disposable toothbrushes, and slippers.
Q. Are pajamas provided?
Pajamas or sleepwear are not provided. Please bring your own.
Q. Is parking available?
saMa-saMa Stay and saMa-saMa Dua do not have free parking. Please use nearby coin-operated parking lots.
saMa-saMa Aisle offers one free parking space at a designated lot.
Other
Q. Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed at saMa-saMa Stay or saMa-saMa Dua.
saMa-saMa Aisle allows one small dog (under 10 kg) per stay.
